Option 1 – Leaving existing Battery (compatible with none canbus batteries only, otherwise option 2), adding a new aftermarket Controller and new Digital Display – £280
Option 2 – adding new Controller, Digital Display and Bigger Capacity Battery 36v or 48v ( increases the range), the price is as follows
- £550 – 630wh 36v17.5ah – range up to 40 miles (recommended)
- £550 – 624wh 48v13ah – range up to 40 miles *
- £650 – 840wh 48v17.5ah – range up to 56 miles *
- £680 – 922wh 48v19.2ah – range up to 61 miles *

* Disclaimer – the Carreea Wheel Hub is designed for 36v power input, conversion with 36v Battery shouldn’t have any impact for functionality of the Hub and shouldn’t cosed any quicker wear and tear , 48v Battery put much more strain to the Hub motor and it wears faster, only by Client request. After modification there is no warranty given to the Hub Wheel as this is an existing part of the bike. In case of failure there is an option to upgrade the Hub Wheel Motor in the future with higher power rated Motor as Bafang or Mxus for around £300.
